One of the few times where I feel I’m most in my element is when I am painting. Just the act of it alone is enough to make me feel like I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing. Most of the time it’s with watercolour or acrylic paint (because it’s what I’m most familiar with and haven’t explored everything else so much). If I had a chance to go back in time to change anything (not that it’s important), it would really have been just one thing, which was to ignore all the noise about what everyone was telling me to do when I was younger at school, and instead to just pursue what my heart desired which was my passion for the arts i.e. become a painter or something related to paintings so I could spend most of my time doing it and thinking about it. Put me in an art gallery, I’ll be there for hours and hours!
